Moray East Join the Team

Since EDPR established its UK office in 2010, we have made a commitment to encouraging young talent through graduate and intern recruitment. Since 2012, ca. 30 interns have been placed with Moray East on the Environmental Placement Programme; of those, five have been retained  with the company.

Moray East has hosted a number of Masters projects for students attending the University of Edinburgh’s Masters in Carbon Finance and the Executive MBA Programme and commits to continuing this engagement through the pre‐construction and construction phases of the Project.

Following a CfD award, we are committed to developing an apprenticeship programme supported by our suppliers, including direct work experience with the project, to support students from the local area.

Do you want to be part of the energy revolution?

At this exciting time of growth in the offshore wind sector we are looking for passionate people who anticipate change, build as part of a team and deliver results in a competitive environment.

Case Study

Peter Haughie

“While studying at Herriot Watt University – Renewable Energy Development – I joined EDPR as an intern – at that time I was  doing my Masters thesis on GIS  – so development of offshore wind provided an ideal match for my education.

“I was kept on in that role for a year.  I stayed with the company and then moved into procurement – which is a position that I have held for the past three years.

“EDPR is a young, dynamic company.  It has a presence in a third of the EU nations, as well as America, and it helps its workforce to take advantage of the opportunities of working in different countries.  The opportunities for professional development are outstanding.
